Yangon – Bago – Mandalay – Amarapura – Mingun – Sagaing – Ava – Pyin Oo Lwin – Bagan – Heho – Kalaw – Pindaya – Inle Lake –Taunggyi – Kakku – Yangon

Day 01: Yangon arrival & sightseeing (by car)

Arrive at Yangon International Airport and welcome by Young Top Tycoon Tourism representative and our tour guide. Check in hotel. Yangon sightseeing includes; the Royal Park , one of the most popular green spaces in the downtown area of Yangon. Here you see the glittering Karaweik Barge, a replica of the Royal Bridge and enjoy the view over the lake up to the Shwedagon Pagoda. Visit to the city center with the gilded 2500 years Sule Pagoda.And visit colonial style buildings surrounding Mahabandula Park . Proceed toChaukhtatgyi (Reclining Buddha) Pagoda to see 70-meters long colossal reclining Buddha. Then drive to stroll through a narrow street of China Town including the short visit to Tao Temple. Then, shortly before sunset, the 107 meters high golden stupa of Shwedagon Pagoda will glitter in the soft light of the early evening.

Day 02: Yangon – Bago – Yangon (by car)

After breakfast at hotel, drive to Bago trip. Firstly, visit in Kyat Khet Wine Monastery, where a thousand monks take their last meal of the day at 10:00 am in total silence. Then, continue toShwemawdaw Pagoda, Hinthargone Pagoda and Kanbawza Thardi Palace built by King Bayinnaung. Over there, visit in Shwethalyaung Pagoda(the world’s most beautiful reclining Buddha) ,the Handicraft Centre and Maha Zedi pagoda(Mon style). Visit also the huge four sitting Buddha’s Kyaikpun(28 meters high huge Buddha Image.). After that,drive back to Yangon . On the way back, study the Allied War Cemetery near Htuakkyan, the final resting place for over 27,000 allied soldiers.

Day 03: Yangon – Mandalay – Amarapura (by flight & car)

Early morning breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport for fly to Mandalay. Arrive Mandalay and check in hotel. Start for Amarapura excursion, firstlyMahagandayon Monastery, where more than a thousand monks live and study and then U Bein Bridge. There, you can take a walk over the world’s longest teakwood bridges. 

Continue drive to Mandalay visit in Maha Myat Muni Pagoda, Tapestry making home cottage, Marble carving workshop, Gold-leaf Beating workshop, Silk weaving home cottage and Bronze Casting. Shewnandaw Monastery (Golden Palace) noted for its exquisite wood carving, Kuthodaw Pagoda known as the World’s Biggest Book for its stone slabs of Buddhist scripture, and in the evening enjoys the sunset from Mandalay Hill.

Day 04: Mandalay – Mingun – Ava – Sagaing – Mandalay (by boat, car & horse cart)

After breakfast at hotel, depart Mandalay on a private boat along theAyeyarwaddy River to visit Mingun, a village on the west bank of the river. Visit to Mingun Pathotawgyi, the world renowned ringing Mingun Bell,Myatheintan Pagoda and surrounding village. Proceed to Ava (Innwa) and visit the village and the old wooden monastery of Ava (Innwa), old pagodas from 16 Century and photograph the rice fields surrounded by old pagodas. Travel by horse cart to see the Bagaya Monastery (for photo shoot of novices and kids din the monastic school) and the old Royal Palace.

Then proceed to Sagaing Hill – known as the center for meditation. Hill sides are dotted with numerous pagodas and Monasteries. Visit to Khaungmudaw Pagoda, Silver-smith workshop, In the evening enjoy the sunset from Soon U Ponya Shin Pagoda at Sagaing Hill. Return to Mandalay.

Day 05: Mandalay - Pyin Oo Lwin - Mandalay (by car)

After breakfast at hotel, day return trip to Pyin Oo Lwin (Maymyo, flower city or hillock step city was a British Hill Station during the colonial era also in current pretty little hill resort for visitors). The first place for sightseeing starts with the pleasant picnic spotPeik Chin Myaung Cave, near Wetwun Village. Following up is Pwe Kauk Waterfall(8 km from the town.) The another highlight is National Kandawgyi Garden (about 50 acre in size containing , 4048 trees mostly pine varieties, 575 different floral species and many exotic fruits and flowers.) and Chinese Temple. In the evening drive back to Mandalay.

Day 06: Mandalay - Bagan (by express boat and car)

After breakfast at hotel, transfer to jetty. A whole day boat trip to Bagan, while you can riding the activities on the mightly Ayeyarwaddy River, you will arrive in Bagan on late afternoon, Bagan is the first and most beautiful capital of the Burmese, founded in the eleventh century by a great king. Along with Ankor in Cabodia, this is the most important temple and pagoda complex in Asia.

Day 07: Bagan full day sightseeing (by flight & car)

After breakfast at hotel, sightseeing includes; starts with the Nyaung Oo Colorful Local Market and then visitShwezigon Pagoda, its magnificent golden stupa, Wet-Kyi Inn- Gubyaukgyi Temple, with superb mural paintings of jataka scenes,Htilominlo Temple noted for its fine plaster carvings and glazed sand stone decoration. After that, proceed to Myinkaba Village for observing the traditional lacquer ware workshop to explore the process of making unquie Myanmar bowls and trays. And then, Ananda Temple, architectural masterpiece of the early- style temple with four impressive standing Buddha images. Continue to Thabinnyu Temple, the highest temple in Bagan, andDhammayangyi Temple, the most missive temple, noted for its remarkable brickwork. Enjoy sunset over the site from the upper terrace of Shwesandaw Pagoda

Day 08: Bagan – Heho – Kalaw – Pindaya (by flight and car)

After breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport for fly to Heho. Arrive Heho and proceed to Kalaw sightseeing; and then proceed to Pindaya sightseeing. Visit to Pindaya Cave, are set deep in the hillsides and there stands at the entrance, a 15 meter high Shwe U Min Cave, Pindaya lake,home base paper making and umbrella making industry.

Day 09: Pindaya – Inle Lake (by car & boat)

After breakfast at hotel, drive to Inle Lake check in to hotel. Then sightseeing on the lake includesblacksmith and silversmith workshop, floating islands, Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, Unique Leg-rowers, Traditional Fishing Method and Silk Weaving. Then visit to Nga Phe Chaung Monastery, so called “Jumping cat’s monastery”. Photograph the long neck family on the way back (Padaung Women).

Day 10: Inle Lake – Kakku – Taunggyi (by car and boat)

After breakfast at hotel, drive to Taunggyi, capital of Shan State and is a pine hill station. The weather is so cool and pleasant year around and the winter months can be quite night. The local market is well known throughtout Myanmar. Proceed to Kakku, a temple complex of more than 2000 stupas has lied hidden in the Pa-O heartland of Southern Shan State of centuries. Return back to Taunggyi .Overnight at hotel in Taunggyi.

 

 

 

Day 11: Taunggyi - Heho - Yangon (by flight and car)

After breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport for fly back to Yangon. As soon as you arrive to Yangon, stop to take photo in the front of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi’s house area who got Nobel peace prize in 1991 and transfer to hotel. 

In the afternoon, you continue toNational Museum, Chaukhtatgyi (Reclining Buddha) Pagoda to see 70-meters long colossal reclining Buddha,Botataung Pagoda and Nanthida Jetty and watch the traffic on the Yangon River; here luxury cruise liners come to berth at this jetty quite often.

Day 12: Shopping & departure (by car)

After breakfast at hotel, shopping atGems mart and Handicraft shops atBogyoke (Scott) Market where you can buy many souvenirs. And visitKaba Aye (World Peace) Pagodaand drive to Yangon International airport for departure. If time permit on the way visit to Lawka Chanthar Arbayar Laba Muni Buddha Image (Kyauktawgyi) and White Elephant camp and departure.
